Good evening my lovelies!
The past few weeks have been quite busy for me, to say the least, so I thought I’d give you all an update.
Let’s start with college!
My second year is now underway & it’s looking like it could be an exciting one! Right now I’m doing a fashion promotion unit & a “gorgeous garbage” unit. The former covers PR & Marketing while the latter is about creating an item (either art, interior or fashion related) using recycled materials (example here). Alongside these, I will be beginning my application for university! I am honestly so excited to begin the application process as I have had to wait another year due to leaving sixth form after the first year in to do another two year course.
The time I have left at college is then occupied with studying styling, buying & completing my final major project!
I have also had an amazing opportunity in the form of The Guardian. I was contacted last week by a lovely journalist called Natalie Gil asking if I would be interested in contributing to an article she was writing about Freshers’ fashion! The selected group of bloggers had to recommend one item of clothing or one accessory that we think is a must-have this season! If you are interested in reading the article, please click here.
Before The Guardian opportunity, came the chance to be an Ambassador for personal shopping app, Mallzee (featured here, here & here)! It’s an exciting opportunity in which the ambassadors work with the lovely team to raise brand awareness for the company through networking, social media, incentives, e.t.c! I pounced at the chance of gaining that experience & am now proudly repping Mallzee for part of the South East! It’s worth mentioning that there is a competition taking place & you can find more information on that here.
My last piece of news for you is that earlier this evening I was contacted by a lovely member of the Ted Baker team in regards to a fabulous promotion taking place this month! All students will receive a 20% off discount in stores!!
It’s news like this that is going to make Freshers’ Week a whole lot better!
Shall we take a look at some items that would help make your first week that extra bit stylish?

There’s so many items to choose from but seeing as for some of you it’ll be your first week in a new environment, I chose staple items that are stylish yet practical.
I’ll leave you now to peruse the items that lay waiting to be part of your university journey but before I do, please make sure you don’t miss out on this promotion!
