How are we already in mid-May?! I was aware at how quickly time flies – even if you’re at work/school/college/university etc – but this month has flown by! It literally only felt like it was my birthday yesterday and it has already been a week since! EH?!
Another thing that feels like it was only within the last two days is the #SockStyle event that TRACE Publicity hosted at their London HQ. Taking place a week last Friday, I was lucky enough to have been invited along (thank you Sophie and Natasha)!
I arrived as close to 10AM as I could in order for me to avoid missing any of the day. Following this, I caught up with Natasha and Sophie, and finally met Lauren from Into The Woods (if you didn’t see her interview for the Meet The Blogger feature, check it out here)! I also went dreamy eyed over the table of goodies that lay in front of me. *Love heart eye emoji*
I then got to work picking some socks to style into my outfit. Having blue jeans and shoes on, I thought why not add another dose of blue to the outfit? After browsing the assortment of Pringle socks, I opted for a two-tone blue, plaid pair.
During a social media break Amy (from idontownanythingdesigner) and Amelia (from Heart Shaped Rose) arrived, shortly followed by Georgie (from Away With The Fairies). After choosing some items to wear with the socks, we were briefly joined by Tashi (from Tashi Skervin).
*Excuse the windswept hair*
As you’ll see when changing my outfit up, I opted for what is quite possibly one of the comfortable pieces of knitwear that I have ever worn. The other detail that I changed was the socks, choosing a grey to go with the jumper. No word of a lie when I say that I did not feel the cold in this outfit.
In between this photo being taken, sweets, cake, doughnuts, brownies and other dental emergency inducing treats had been consumed; Charlotte (from Crave Green Velvet) arrived; more photos were taken and we had a brief visit from Radio 1’s Gemma Cairney!

I’d like to thank Sophie, Natasha and TRACE Publicity – again – for the wonderful day and shoutout to the bloggers I met – you’re all lovely and it was a pleasure to meet you! Also shoutout/thank you to SockShop; the socks are amazing quality and feel so cosy on!
