With Freshers’ Week drawing to a close – whilst Southampton students amongst others hit the halfway point – the new academic year commences. For those no longer in education, new jobs or returning to work after time off, routines are re-made and re-jigged. All the while, the cold clutches of Autumn beckon us towards them.
The reach for jumpers, neutral colour palettes and textures has begun. I for one have most definitely started, and I couldn’t be happier with what this reach resulted in. The faux-suede jacket by Pull&Bear adds a polished and slicker dimension to the look, framing the Breton stripe of the COS t-shirt. The pattern is classic yet by simply opting for it in white adds a fresh touch.
Of course Chelsea boots always elevate a casual look, taking it to a more work appropriate level. That and teaming the suede texture with the jacket help give a cohesion to the outfit. I grabbed Andrew and his girlfriend, Mel, and we all came to the location above. It was a reminder to take some quiet time for yourself and not to get too caught up in the fast pace lives we all lead in today’s world.
What textures are you reaching for this season? Sound off in the comments below or get in touch via e-mail/social media. Catch you as soon as I finally get into a routine down here, back at uni.
