It’s no secret that Savile Row is where it’s at for tailoring and bespoke suits. But did you know that The Savile Row Company, residing at 40 Savile Row, have launched their own fragrance?
No? Well, then let me fill you in and share my thoughts on it with you.
Launched in October 2017, The Savile Row Company Fragrance for Men was designed for the modern man. The Savile Row Company have aimed to create a fragrance that will complete every gentlemen’s attire.
Woody and suave, The Savile Row Company Fragrance for Men has struck the perfect balance of fresh with it’s top notes and enticing with the base. The fragrance opens with sparkling citrus notes, spicy pink pepper and fresh peppermint. The EDT’s heart is made up of jasmine, aromatic geranium and nutmeg all blending perfectly before you are met with the velvety amber and wood base.
When I opened the box, I have to admit that I wasn’t sure what to expect from the fragrance? Would it be woody and masculine or would it have a lighter, fresh scent? I sprayed, gave it a minute to begin settling before making a decision.
The scent has a warmth to it. It’s alluring and could stimulate the senses. If I were to smell this at an event I would be looking around to find out who is wearing it. What I like is it isn’t too much, I can smell it and when I move I get a waft every now again but it isn’t overpowering. Overall I am pleasantly surprised and have to give a shoutout to the fabric label that adorns the bottle – a very nice touch!
The Savile Row Company Fragrance for Men is available in 50ml (£27) and 100ml (£39) at Savile Row Fragrance.
