“Red, white, blue is in the sky
Summer’s in the air and baby, heaven’s in your eyes”
– Lana Del Rey, National Anthem
Time is moving at an alarmingly fast rate recently. How is it that on Friday just gone I finished my temp job after a month of being there?! It only felt like two weeks! On the plus-side though, I can now resume with my plan to produce more content. *Cheers*
In other news, how fab is this t-shirt?! I saw it by chance on the JOY website and from then on couldn’t get it out of my head. Not only is it slick but it is also on sale – WIN! Luckily for me, there is a JOY store on site at the office I was working at, so during lunch I jumped in the lift and descended to the ground floor before running in store. As it would happen the one I bought was the only one in my size *hallelujah hands emoji* and not only that, but it had also had been reduced further!
*Sighs* I can’t get over the nonchalant, I-don’t-give-a-shit look Kate Moss is serving in this print. *Love-heart eye emoji* So thank you to Eleven Paris for creating this! I am also living for their capsule family collection, make sure to check it out (men’s, women’s)!
I not only wanted to share with you all the t-shirt but I also wanted to do an post that was a nod to the American LGBT community for finally having being able to get married in every state – hence the outfit’s colour scheme. I wanted a way of tying it in with the blog and then just like that; the idea hit me when Lana Del Rey’s ‘National Anthem‘ played – specifically the quoted lyrics at the start of this post.
This leads me to my question for you; do you feel marriage equality is long overdue in all countries or do you feel that it will be legalised in other countries when the time is right? Let me know what you think in the comments below, drop me an e-mail or even get in touch on social media!
I’m now off to trim my bush… The one in the photos you horrors! Get your minds out of the gutters! And whatever you do, if you say “I moustache you a question” to someone, I beg that you do not follow it up with “but I’ll shave it for later”! URGH *rolls eyes* it’s cheesy and I can’t deal with it.
