Is it just me or can anyone else hear the faint ring of wedding bells? Must be the start of wedding season!

That’s right people! The time has come to start dusting off you formal attire ready to witness knots being tied!

I’m lucky enough to say that for this wedding season, Burton has me covered regarding what to wear! I was contacted by the brand asking if I’d love to get involved with their #SmartOccasion project and I jumped at the chance (and no it’s not just because I’m a sucker for a suit and a wedding). The aim of the project is to look at the ways in which you can style up suits ready for wedding season.

I opted for this dark blue suit as I felt it was subtle yet sophisticated. It doesn’t scream out for you to look, yet you can’t help but do so. I’ve also noticed that the suit complements my complexion, my now ginger hair and also, my former hair colour.

In regards to accessories, I kept it minimal. A simple slim tie added another hue of blue to the mix while the pocket square gave a finish to the outfit. The shoes not only look smart and wedding-appropriate but also feel really comfy on!

As always, my fabulous Amber was on board to shoot this suit and we discussed how shooting the suit in a range of locations would show you guys how versatile the suit looks and how it would work at a variety of different style weddings. We also wanted to create a wedding photography slant on the imagery this time round to contribute to the vibe of this post.

I want to say a massive thank you to the team over at Burton for reaching out to me and for the amazing suit and shoes! I can’t stop looking at them!
