So remember when I joined Kiehl’s at their Regent Street store to celebrate the launch of their Age Defender range? Well now I’m bringing you my thoughts on the products, so get comfy and let’s check them out!
Formulated with Cypress extract, to help strengthen the skin, Kiehl’s Age Defender Power Serum is lightweight and glides onto the skin, which I absolutely love! That and the fact this product is easily absorbed makes for a very happy Jack. You’ll also find Adenosine in the serum’s ingredients as it is known to build collagen.
Over the time in which I’ve used the serum, I’ve found my skin feels firmer and looks fresher. I will definitely continue to use the product and would recommend it to all guys looking for a light, fast-absorbing product!
Much like the Power Serum, Kiehl’s Age Defender Moisturiser is formulated with Cypress extract (fun fact, it originates in the La Reunion island in the Indian Ocean) and contains Adenosine.
When it came to using the moisturiser, I immediately fell in love with its clean, fresh scent. I don’t normally opt for moisturisers that have a thick consistency as they tend to leave a greasy coating on my skin, but I can happily say that the Age Defender one has left me feeling differently. Kiehl’s Age Defender Moisturiser has absorbed into my skin quickly and barely leaves any residue on the surface of the skin.
My skin feels softer and looks healthier as a result of using this moisturiser. Like with the Power Serum, I would recommend the Age Defender Moisturiser and will most definitely continue to use this product!
You’ve seen the memes, and I’m guilty for having shared them with friends and family. You know the ones that compare the bags under your eyes to designer handbags. As much I wish any bags under my eyes were by Chanel, let’s not avoid the fact. They and dark circles give away that you’re not all that well rested, even if your energy levels suggest otherwise.
This is why Kiehl’s Age Defender Eye Repair is a saviour. Key ingredients include caffeine, Linseed extract and Rye seed extract. The caffeine reduces puffiness, the Linseed extract improves the firmness of the skin and the Rye seed extract improves the smoothness of the skin (perfect for those bloody crow’s feet).
In my own experience of using the Eye Repair, I found that using a small amount and gently applying did the trick. The light application enables the skin to absorb the product quicker and you’ll still achieve results. Being lightweight and easy to apply have definitely scored this product – and the whole range – points in my opinion!
It may come as no surprise that I’m also recommending the Kiehl’s Age Defender Eye Repair. My eyes look brighter and back to pre-university antics days, so of course I will continue to use the Eye Repair.
I would like to wrap this post up by thanking Kiehl’s once again for inviting me to the range’s launch and for kindly gifting me the products in the range! I do want those of you reading this to know that my opinion of the products has in no way been influenced by the fact I’ve been gifted them. The range is truly brilliant and only goes to show why Kiehl’s is one of the leading skincare brands.
