Greenhorn – A person who is new to or inexperienced in a particular activity.
That was me last year; a greenhorn. Eagerly awaiting my results, in the hope that my hard work had paid off and that I would be progressing onto university. Fast forward a year, and here I am. First year done; gearing up for the second, and already choosing outfits for the upcoming term.
It’s a big thing going to university. For many it means moving somewhere new for this new chapter. For others, theirs starts surrounded by their home comforts.
My fingers are crossed for all those of you getting your results tomorrow, and for those of you getting your results next week! Remember, if things don’t go to plan, it’s not the end! Head straight to UCAS’ Clearing search tool and you may end up with a better option then when you previously chose!
I can remember how daunting the run up to moving out for university was, so if you have any questions, worries or just generally want to chat about the process, please don’t hesitate to drop me an e-mail, a comment below, or a message on social media!
