The Full Works

This Summer, I was contacted by the wonderful team over at men’s grooming brand, Scaramouche + Fandango about testing out some of their products. Having coming across the brand whilst browsing the likes of Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, John Lewis, Fenwicks, etc, and hearing glowing reviews, I knew to keep an eye on them.

Upon opening the ‘Full Works’ wash bag gift set*, I was greeted with fresh, clean scents and branded black tissue paper. The wash bag is an impressive size and not only houses the six products included in the set but multiple products I added to gauge the capacity of the bag. I can happily report that the wash bag is perfect for if you like to carry an array of supplies on your journeys!

Looking at the products in the set, you get six. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash, facial scrub, shave cream and hydrator. I’d like to initially address the packaging. It’s sophisticated, eye-catching (in a good way) and recognisable. The bright, periodic table-like product name printed in the centre against the black helps grab attention without looking tacky or cheap.

Each of the products smell incredible! They are clean, fresh and have a slight fragrance which adds to the revitalised feeling you get post shower/bath.

Since using the shampoo and conditioner by Scaramouche + Fandango I can honestly say that my hair hasn’t been had the shine and texture that it had before dying it back in February. I’d definitely put part of this could be down to the shampoo containing shea butter and cleansing black quinoa, and the conditioner containing strengthening keravis protein and softening black quinoa.

The facial scrub, formulated with exfoliating prickly pear extract and Chronodyn™ cell energiser, has kept my skin clear and looking healthy, whilst the hydrator, made with anti-fatigue Chronodyn™ cell energiser and Vitamin E keeps me looking fresh and ready for the day.

The body wash left a fresh, deeply cleansed feeling to my body and I felt awake, alert and ready to face the day.  Perhaps this was down to the remineralising Brazilian papaya & Vitamin E complex. As for the shaving cream, I found that didn’t cause irritation (even better as I have sensitive skin!) and like all the other products, lathered well. Being enriched with Chronodyn™ cell Energiser and guava extract definitely don’t go amiss in my books.

All in all, I can confidently and honestly say that I will continue to use Scaramouche + Fandango’s products and would like to thank Tamara and the S+F team for reaching out to me and making this post possible! The ‘Full Works’ wash bag gift set is worth every penny of the £40.00 price tag, and even still that’s incredible value for money!
