Hang ups, walls, insecurities. Virtually everyone has them. And it can take a lot to break them down.
I will openly say that it’s taken a long time for me to become the confident person I’m now considered to be. Even in the time since Oh So Jack has been around, I’ve become increasingly more confident. This Summer I really noticed how far I’d come.
The reason I mention this is because I’ve always had an issue with my body. Particularly, my thighs. Dressing to make them look good can prove a challenge when you’re obsessed with skinny jeans… I’ve been trying to avoid shorts for a long time as I don’t generally pull them off, but recently I’ve been playing around with styles and found what works for me seeing as the weather seems to be holding out for us. Play around with layering. Throw a shirt over a plain t-shirt, roll up the sleeves and voila!
If you do have a thicker thigh, opt for shorts that aren’t like a second skin. Go for some that sit slightly loose on the thigh creating the illusion of a slimmer leg. You’ll thank me later. ✌🏻
