Saving Lives with Kiehl’s & MTV

The time has come for me to bring you another post about the incredible brand that is Kiehl’s. Not only do they consistently produce high quality products, but also because of their dedication to supporting charitable causes. Continuing their pledge towards the prevention of HIV, Kiehl’s have teamed up with MTV’s Staying Alive Foundation for a third year running to raise money for the cause.

Following in the footsteps of Tinie Tempah and Laura Mvula, Grammy nominated artist Leona Lewis has been named the representative of the MTV Staying Alive Foundation for 2017. This role will involve raising funds of HIV/AIDS through representing the foundation globally as a spokesperson.

As representative of the MTV Staying Alive Foundation, Leona has come together with Kiehl’s to create a limited edition design of one of their best-selling products – the Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado.

When asked, Leona Lewis had the following to say on the project, “It is a great honour to be working with MTV’s Staying Alive Foundation as an ambassador. I’m eager to raise awareness of the ongoing global HIV crisis. By empowering young people with knowledge about the disease – particularly women and girls who are disproportionately affected – we can help treat it and ultimately prevent it altogether.”

Those of us who enjoy skincare and beauty products can not only benefit ourselves through purchasing the limited edition Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. This is because for every pot sold across Kiehl’s stores and concessions, £10 of the purchase goes to the MTV Staying Alive Foundation in order to empower and educate women on HIV protection.

So why not? Change someone’s life starting with your eye cream or by texting “HIV3” to 70660. Launching in-store and online today.
