5 Products I’m Summer Lovin’

Okay, so ultimate irony that I’m sat here writing this post about products I’ve fallen in love with this Summer, as England goes from the glorious, sun-kissed isle, back to the grey, rainy days we are accustomed to…

Anyway, as mentioned above this post is a piece I’ve put together after falling in love with the products featured over this blissful Summer that we’ve been treated to. Let’s get the ball rolling shall we?

Woody’s Love Grenade*

I’d like to start with the most recent of my Summer crushes, happening literally a couple of days ago! The Love Grenade is the latest offering from male grooming brand, Woody’s, providing a two-in-one spray for the body and your laundry. In their own words, Woody’s have described this product with the following: “You know those guys that just make it look easy? They seem to define smooth and for them it is almost effortless. Well Woody bottled it”. The smell is fresh, sweet and moreish, with what I think to be notes of macadamia and vanilla.

Woody’s Love Grenade is available at Amazon and Fragrance Direct.

Green People Gym Bag Heroes*

At the start of Summer, I was kindly sent the Gym Bag Heroes set from organic brand, Green People. The three piece set comes all in a subtle, slick canvas bag and is an offering of daily bathroom essentials that are designed to keep you feeling fresh and ready for the day. The three products in the set are also prime for that post-gym session shower, hence the name. There’s pineapple enzymes in the Itch Away Shampoo to control irritation and ensure the rebalancing of a flaky scalp, should that be a concern to some. The Detox Shower Gel contains seaweed that supports and detoxifies. Last but not least, the roll-on Thyme & Prebiotics is aluminium free, meaning it doesn’t clog the pores.

Green People’s Gym Bag Heroes is available at Green People and FeelUnique.

Dorco Pace 6 Plus Razor*

Designed to provide customers with the best shaving experience possible, razor brand, Dorco offer the Pace 6 Plus. This razor is packed with features that are designed to help with getting a slick, close shave and overall tidy finish. The trimmer blade is a real plus with tidying sideburns, the non-slip handle is ergonomically designed and really helps when it comes to rinsing in between strokes. The clean shave is provided by the Pace 6 Plus’ six blade razor head. An additional shoutout to the Dorco team for infusing their moisturising strips with Aloe Vera, Vitamin E and Lavender Oil to leave skin soothed and protected.

Dorco Pace 6 Plus Razor is available at Dorco and Amazon.

Electric Ink Vibrancy Serum*

A few years ago tattoo care didn’t really extend beyond Sudocrem/Bepanthen for the initial healing period, however times have changed and now we have brands like Electric Ink. The tattoo and skin care company make it their mission to help your skin looking its best and your tattoos look their most vibrant. Thanks to them we now have the Electric Ink Vibrancy Serum’. This product not only smells great but also nourishes skin whilst protecting the tattoo. You’ll also find that after application your tattoos are more defined and for that, you can thank the serum’s mixture of oils and vitamins. To top it all off, Electric Ink is vegan friendly and cruelty-free.

Electric Ink’s Vibrancy Serum is available at Electric Ink, Boots, Mankind, The Grooming Clinic and The Modern Man.

Ouai Matte Pomade

Last but by no means least on this list is the Matte Pomade by haircare brand, Ouai. I picked this little wonder up in Selfridges a couple of months ago and instantly knew I had to share it with you all here. The Matte Pomade is remarkably efficient, requiring the smallest portion to add volume and style to the hair. You’ll also find the incredible scent that you notice with the even the smallest of breezes is your mane. Thank you so much to Jen Atkin and the Ouai team for bringing this product to the market! *Bows down*

Ouai’s Matte Pomade is available at Ouai, Selfridges, John Lewis, Space NK and Cult Beauty.

This post is by no means me saying that these products are only to be used in the Summer, it is simply that I have either discovered them this Summer and fallen in love or that I have finally managed to get my hands on them and again, fallen in love. Let me know what you think of the picks and should you have any to share, please do let me know in the comments below, on social media or via an e-mail.
